I am grateful and humbled by the call to serve Westport Road as Youth Minister. I consider myself a servant and vessel for the Lord. My goal in ministry is to remain in step with the will, guidance, and power of Jesus; I believe apart from Him, my efforts will be in vain. My focus is on teaching our students what fostering a healthy and active relationship with Jesus looks like. I believe this is achieved through equipping our students with a comprehensive knowledge of scripture, guidance on how to operate in our world as a disciple of Christ, and practical experience serving those around us as Jesus did. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to grow in this role as a minister, in my relationship with the students, and in my relationship with Jesus.
My wife, Emma, and I have been married since December, 2018. We consider this role to be more than just a job for me; we view youth ministry as a mission field and approach this mission with a joint effort. Emma and I grew up at Westport Road and have a very passionate love for the congregation. We left Kentucky in 2018 to allow me to serve in the U.S. Army Special Forces until May of 2024. We are excited to be back home serving our church!
